VOLUNTEERING
Altrusa International of Reno/Sparks partners with local non-profits by providing volunteers to help them achieve their missions. Volunteers have numerous opportunities to give back to the community in ways that fulfill their soul.
CONNECTING
Altrusa International of Reno/Sparks provides opportunities for members to connect with others, not only locally, but Internationally. Members our provided leadership opportunities at Local, District and International level. Our local club also builds connections between local non-profits to create partnerships that leave a larger impact on our local community.
FUNDRAISING
As a part of Altrusa International we have the opportunity to reward grants to local projects and non-profits. We have been able to provide a Disaster Relief Grant to the Carson Valley Community Food Closet during . We also have received funding for our local Hotel/Motel Outreach to help give essentials to low-income populations.
